I can't chat with someone before the game starts. I had a league match today, and while I was waiting for my opponent, someone else joined my table. I wanted to politely tell him or her the situation, but the chat didn't work, so I had to kick him or her without giving any explanation. Person whose name I have forgotten, I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. :'( You are loved.

Of course, I could have started the game, explained the situation, and resigned. But come on, I have my rating to consider, even if it's hidden at the moment.

Definitions:

Variable Starting Hands: Each player's starting deck is randomly ordered, independently from one another (status quo). Favors variety over equality.

Identical Starting Hands: All players' starting decks are in the same random order. Favors equality over variety.
