When I select my kingdom cards and choose the rated option, the kingdom is thrown out. Is the rated option only for random sets now??

How to Play / new interface rated game option

We used to play our games with the option set to rated. Now when I create the kingdom and then click on rated game, the kingdom is eliminated...is the new rated feature only good for random game sets?

Just how do you load an old game? I have tried repeatedly and it drops me into the game at the score screen...I'd like to start the game from the beginning....
