(I think I've requested this before, but that was a long time ago. I will try to frame it here as simply as possible)

When you finish a game against someone, both players have a choice which can be simplified to "Do I want to play another game against this person right now?"

If the answer is 'yes', they click 'Ready'

If the answer is 'no', they leave the table.

Given this decision, it's a bit awkward when, after one player leaves the table, both players get matched up again. If both players wanted to play again, they would have done so without the matching system's "help".

Could you add a constraint to the matching system to avoid choosing the last opponent?

If I play one Overlord as a Caravan and another Overlord as a Fishing Village, then at the start of my next turn they show up as a single 2-card stack with one of the card names on top.

This is just a display issue.

Feature Requests / Topdecking order -- still confusing

The order that cards go back on your deck is still occasionally confusing to me. By that I mean, I may "know" how it works, but I have to think about it -- and honestly, I'd rather be thinking about my turn or my strategy than figuring out the interface.

Feature Requests / Language flag in log?

I think it would be nice to know what language other people are using. This might help with some inter-player communication issues. For example, it would change my expectation for chat responses if I saw the other player was not playing in English.

Could the game display the language flag at the head of the log?

The new version seems to have introduced a minor bug where sometimes it erroneously reports that a player has left the table at the end of a game.

I predominantly use Automatch for starting my games, and I find the difference between searching for a game and just sitting idly at the Automatch screen is not very obvious. This can lead to both kinds of errors: thinking you're searching when you're not, and forgetting that you're searching for a game.

Maybe dim the screen or display some kind of animated image?

I just wanted to say good job on this implementation.

1) The game is stable and responsive.

2) There is a large enough player base of competitive players such that I can always find an opponent

3) There have been consistent incremental improvements over the past 9 months.

and finally,

4) A new expansion is being implemented on time (early, even!) for the first time in forever.

2017 Championship (archived) / Biggest upset?

I see very little discussion of the tournament itself here.

What has been the biggest upset? (based on seed differential or reputation or whatever)

One thing that many CCG games do is focus on newer releases by way of "seasons" and tournaments that restrict the card pool to recent blocks. It's obvious why they do this: to make money by incentivizing players to buy the latest sets of cards. But there are other side-effects: it changes the relative power-level of cards and alters the "meta" environment.

I think something similarly interesting could be done with Dominion Online by running mini-leagues or tournaments that focused on 2-3 sets at a time.

For example, we are about to see Nocturne released. It might be fun to have a tournament that emphasized Nocturne by pairing it with 1 or 2 other sets.

Feature Requests / Include artist name on cards?

Is there any reason the artists' names aren't on the cards? I sometimes find myself wondering who did a certain card and am surprised it's not there.

C reveals a Tunnel.
C gains a Gold.
C draws a Curse, a Copper, a Gold, an Estate, 2 Bazaars, 3 Tunnels and an Engineer.

I only drew 5 cards (which is correct):
2 Bazaars
Curse
Gold
Engineer

When you've got a single Coin of the Realm or Royal Carriage on your mat, you get a reminder in the Interface that you can call either one. But it looks like when you have BOTH in play, there is no indication or reminder that you can call them, except in the log.

Card Texts problems / Curse uses hyphen instead of minus?

Is it just me, or does it look like Curse uses the hyphen symbol and not the minus symbol?

Support / New Issue: Lag in Resolving Decisions

I've played over a thousand games, pretty consistently over the past 8 months -- without any connection issues whatsoever -- and in the last week I've experienced a new issue: occasionally decisions will take a long time to resolve. During that time the client is completely unresponsive. It won't register new chat messages from either party.

I have not been able to determine if this problem is just on my side, but if so, I'm not sure what would have changed in the past week.

Has anyone else experienced this?

This is getting really old. Duration attacks such as Enchantress and Swamp Hag should be visible in the main play area.

These are important modifiers of the current player's turn, and as such they should be front and center.

It's been MONTHS now that we've been requesting this.

When a game ends and it transitions to the End Game screen, the chat window stops registering any input.

While this isn't super-important, it would be nice you could type into the window without being interrupted, especially at the end of the game, which might be the only time you send a message to your opponent.

Other Bugs / Player Ratings Gone?

Player ratings all show as 20 in the game log and are missing from Scavenger.

I think it would be amusing/interesting to see some system-wide stats published periodically (monthly?). Things like:

# of games played (broken down by 2p, rated, 3p etc.)
# of unique Kingdoms played
Breakdown of win conditions (province/colony/3-pile/resignation/starvation)
Most commonly bought action cards (by cost)
etc.

I agree, this continues to sound good to me. Players shouldn't have to play with cards they hate, even for the privilege of playing rated games. The only reason to not let you ban cards is to avoid gaming the system, and 5 cards doesn't give you much room to game the system, while going a long way towards letting you ban the cards you hate.
