Ugh! I've been dealing with Lord R freezing at the end of games when it replaces a resigned opponent. This time I didn't even make it to the end of the game. It played a Litter followed by a Wine Merchant resulting in 4 coins to spend and 1 debt. Since the bot seems to freeze when it has to make a decision, I suspect either the decision to pay off the debt or to pay the two to remove the Wine Merchant from the tavern caused the issue.

In game #96525294 my opponent was able to get two turns from Voyage when it was played with the Ghost. This surprised me as I expected the second turn to fail just as when Ghost plays Outpost.  Am I misunderstanding the text "If the previous turn wasn't yours"? Thanks.

Since the update, if I switch tabs during a game and pass my cursor over the trash box after returning, the trash pop-up appears and must be closed via the X. To be clear, this happens when I return from another tab, move my cursor from the tabs in my browser to the game, and happen to pass over the trash box. If I am within the game and hover over the trash box, it behaves as expected, appearing then disappearing when the cursor is moved away from the trash.

Game play has been extremely slow for the past week. I see a few other recent complaints all relating to Google Chrome which is my browser. I am using Version 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64-bit) of Google Chrome. Any suggestions would be appraciated.

Can someone explain to me why on left yuki's Turn 7 I received a curse when they trashed their Flag Bearer? I was game #72461378 on oregon.  Thanks.

Concerning game #32906648 on frankfurt

My opponent wanted to undo a discard. The screen informed me he/she wanted to undo 83 items. Through discussion, we learned that he/she was hitting the undo button not using the command line. We played with it a bit, it always said 83 when he/she hit undo but not when I did. Screenshot of what I saw is attached.

Earlier today I went to the site to play using Automatch. I was startled by how long it took to get a match. Normally it's a matter of seconds. After this repeated several times I eventually realized my subscription had expired. I have always been annoyed by people asking me to wait while they read the cards. If they want to learn the cards why don't they buy them instead of wasting my time when I did buy them. Now I realized the tremendously large number of freeloaders there really is on the site. It also dawned on me that although there are certainly some people who will NEVER buy a subscription for a variety of reasons, perhaps there are some who legitimately do not realize there is a subscription to be purchased. When I went over to renew my subscription I also noticed the price has gone up.

My suggestion is to put a link to purchase expansions/subscription right on the automatch screen. With a suggestion that this will decrease wait times, it should increase subscriptions. Hopefully if more subscriptions are purchased it will also reduce the cost of the subscriptions.

This is in reference to game 10459121 on tokyo.

My opponent played a knight with a throne room. On the first play, it hit one of my knights and trashed. It still played a second time. It seems that the ability to play a second time should be ended when the card is trashed. I know you can't get $2 twice by throning a Mining Village.

So is this a bug? If not please explain the rule that allows it.

I have a friend whose birthday is coming up. I'd like to buy her a subscription as a gift. I don't see a means to do that. I'd like to request there be a feature added where a subscription could be gifted allowing the recipient to see who it's from with a little message.

Since that is not likely to happen with in the next two weeks, could anyone help me with it in the mean time?

I bought a Cursed Village on Turn 3. I drew Poverty for the Hex but it did not make me discard.

I'm sure as usual someone is going to tell me it's supposed to work that way but it really seems like a bug

The names of the Boons set aside by the Druid can be seen at the top of the log. This is not helpful unless you remember what those Boons do. I would like to see some way to read the text of those Boons.  Thanks!

I am sure in previous games when my opponent gave me an estate I would gain points from Battlefield. The card involved in that game was the Swindler. In the game I just played Battlefield was again available. My opponent gave me an estate using Masquerade. I expected to receive 2VPs from the Battlefield, but did not.

According to the rule book, "Battlefield - (Landmark) You take the VP whether you bought the Victory card or gained it another way."

It seems I should have gotten the points from a Masaquerade gained estate. Why didn't I?

Looks like there was a system change. At game end I now see only the count of cards we each had and not the log. I know it's possible to look-up games. I don't want to go to that much trouble just to see the last things my opponent bought on the game ending turn. I'd like to see the full log AND the card count. If there is a setting that I'm missing that allows this please let me know. Otherwise take this as feedback that I don't love the new approach.

This morning my rating was 48.something. Now ti's 20. I don't think I screwed up that badly. I see in the updates list an upgrade was just implemented. Any relation? I don't care about my rating so much, but I do care about playing other people rated 20. Restarting browser and computer had no effect.

Just had a second thought and checked the Leaderboard which still shows me at 48, but I'm being matched with much lower level players. Their rating at the top of the game log says 20 like mine. Some aren't that bad, they know the cards. Some sure seem to actually be a 20.

Any thoughts?

I think this one is actually a bug not something I'm over looking.

The game started with no Victory point tokens on Farmer's Market for the Defiled Shrine. That is correct as it is an accumulating card. Leter in the game after there are VPs on the Farmer's Market from playing one, buying an FM results in one of those tokens being moved to the Defiled Shrine which is not correct. Screenshot attached hows the turn in question and the game #.

Initially I liked the new set-up. Now that I have been matched with a never ending stream of opponents who have similar ratings but don't know more than base cards, I don't like it any more. Could you please switch the appearance of the matching screen to put practice game at the top? I hope that may redirect some people who just click the first button they see.  Thank you.

There was something strange  about a game involving Enchantress and Champion. My opponent had Enchantress in play. I play my Champion expecting +1 Card +1 Action. I got that. Here are the relevant turns from the log.

Turn 12 - jonnyba

j draws 3 Silvers, a Bishop and a Counterfeit.

Turn 12 - TheSeal
T plays a Champion.
   T draws a Silver.
T plays a Silver, 2 Coppers and 2 Golds.
T buys and gains a Platinum.
T draws 3 Coppers, a Gold and a Warrior.



A few turns later I realized my Champion was in reserve AND my opponent was successful attacking me with a Warrior. Here's on of those turns.

It wasn't my imagination. I discussed it with my opponent and he also saw my Champion was in play when he moused over my name. Here's our conversation.

P.S. As I was reading my post before hitting the post button, I just realized the log was showing me what my opponent was drawing. That really seems wrong.

I played Ironworks when I had Coin of the Realm on Tavern Mat. I could not gain a card. The only options given was to play CotR. I think the attached screen capture shows the problem well.

I just played a game where on the last turn my opponent played a Capital. The last line of the log before shuffling and drawing was "G takes: 6 debt". I just got out my hard copy of the rules for Empires. My memory was correct. It's expressly stated you can't win with debt. Now I won't deny maybe there is something I do not know or understand but the statement in the rules seems pretty clear. There were four empty piles at the end of my opponent's turn so the game definitely had to end. Just not sure why my opponent got the win. Could someone either clue me in on what I'm missing or add this as a bug?

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere. I did a topic search and looked at the known bog list without luck before making this post.

I am not get anything on a search so not sure if this has been reported yet. I played Band of Misfits as Transmogrify. It went to my Tavern Mat appropriately. The next turn when I wanted to call it, I was not given the option to do so. Fortunately I was able to end the game that turn or it just would have sat there. Game 655880 on Oregon.
