You have got to fix this. I've faced it each year, and each time I've been so confused.
If my subscription expires, I do not get an error message that says, "Your subscription has expired." That is the error message that I should get.
What I get instead is an error message that says, "Internal error."
If my subscription has lapsed, that is NOT an internal error. That is something that I can take action on.
Each time this has happened, it has created a lot of confusion for me while I reload; I assume the site is broken and I come back a different day, getting the same error. It is needless. Just use the words, "Your subscription has elapsed."
