It's understandable to feel frustrated by streaks of bad luck or being second in Dominion. The shuffle in Dominion is random, so sometimes you get several unlucky games in a row. Over many games, probability does even out, but in small samples, streaks happen. Some people use house rules like rotating the start player. For tournaments, players often play equal numbers of games as first and second. You might find two-player games more balanced if you switch starting positions each match. Ultimately, randomness is part of Dominion's design, but it can definitely feel unfair at times!

Counting House is one of the weakest cards by itself. But paired with cards like Travelling Fair (to topdeck Copper), Watchtower (to draw Coppers immediately), and maybe Stables or Sifters (to find your Counting House), it can actually become a powerful payload card for big money turns. Throw in a source of extra buys like Market, and suddenly those Coppers can turn into a lot of Provinces!
