first of all: a very big thank you for your dedication to the game and to showing true interest in our (the players') needs and concerns!
General comment on how I play: So far, I have been interested only in playing against bots and I would probably continue doing so. So for me, it is not so much a question of online or offline, but rather a question of the payment model: I do not want to go for a subscription model with an annual fee. I want to pay a one-time fee and then be able to play against bots, no matter whether online or offline.

Yes, I would like to have an offline client to be able to play regular games against bots. Playing campaigns would be a nice additional feature.
