In general I think the fewer animations the better. I want just enough to see what is going on, and I would likely turn off as many visual effects as possible.

I haven't noticed this as a problem.
10. Option to hide the log
I don't care. I actually use the log pretty frequently, since I play fast enough that I can't see the cards for things like Mystic, and need to refer to the log for that.

This might be cool but most likely I wouldn't download it.

13. Downloadable game logs
This would be great - even just the ability to read the log after playing. A lot of the time I'm like "What just happened?" and then I can't see what happened, especially since I play on the fastest speed I can manage.
