Ah, interesting.  How frustrating that a particular OS does not allow for additional browser updates!!!

(On a related [maybe??] note:  A short while ago, as expected, the Allies preview period has ended.  But something is wrong on your end, now.  When I finish a game with Lord Rat, I get the expected "The Game Has Ended" along with the usual "OK" button that one clicks on, in order to move on to a new game.  But, now, nothing happens when I click on OK.  This only started happening immediately after Allies cards disappeared--plus, of course, when the toggle switch to preview Allies also disappeared from that Set Up page, as would be expected.  So, the programming change must be related to this new bug...unless it's an unbelievable coincidence.

Only way to do a workaround that I can figure out: Use browser Refresh, but that takes me back to the initial Login page.  If I again enter my username and password, then I can again go through the usual game set-up process, and play another one game.  But no one wants to go through those extra 7+ steps each time you play a single game.  :(

Anyone else reporting something like this?  I did not bother to write down the game numbers, other than after the 4th consecutive game, when it because clear that it was an ongoing issue.)

My own (fully updated) version is, like Ingix, 97.xxx.

So, all of the above-mentioned issues might be from using a woefully out-of-date Firefox.  Re-post if updating Firefox does not fix the problem.  (Pro hint:  Updating software fairly regularly is probably not a terrible idea to do, if only for security/anti-virus reasons.  Is it possible that you guys have been using a version of Firefox that is months old???

Update:  I found it.  (It's no longer a box to tick...it's now an On/Off "slider," but accomplishes the same thing.  But it's at an 'earlier' screen than the page I included in my OP.  If you miss it while setting up your games, you can't go back and fix it.  You have to resign, and leave your table, in order to get to the stage where you can set this up.)

I saw, in a different thread, the explanation on how to get one or more cards from Allies into games...a great way to get used to the new cards that are (I guess) currently in Beta.  But, as I create a typical game with Lord Rat, I do not see how to force each game to have an Allies card.  I did go into the Kingdom section and then made sure that Allies was selected/highlighted.  But this just enables these cards, I think--it does not "force" them.  The table that was randomly created did not have any Allies card.  I immediately resigned and created a new table.  No luck again.  Nor for the next 10 times.  Frustrating and a total waste of time.

In the past, with new kingdoms, there was a prominent checkbox.  And if you ticked it; it would force every game to give at least one such new card.  I gather that there is still this checkbox, but it's pretty well-hidden from me. 

Can someone give a step-by-step walkthrough on how to set things up, so that each practice game with Lord Rat will have an Allies card?  Thanks . . . I presume that I'm not the only person wanting this info.   :)

I have Windows 10, on a desktop computer.  I have found that a good snipping tool is great, and it's actually one of the apps/programmes I use most often.  In the past, I just Googled "Windows snipping tool," and picked one of the free ones.

But here is the shortcut that comes with Windows 10.  Windows Key+Shift+S.  Screen will darken and use your mouse to highlight the area you want to snip.

(I did this, and saved the screenshot to my desktop.  Ironically, I can't figure out how to paste it here...how embarrassing.  Usually, when one clicks on the "Insert Image" icon, it brings up a window where you can browse to the correct folder and then select that image.  But that does not work here...now, clicking on the Insert Image icon brings up only the following text: 



Could not suss out what to do next...this is different from the method for inserting an image on the other 150 websites I have visited over the years.)

You would be talking about for unrated games only, right?

Hmm.  I am getting them regularly.   (I mean, within the statistical norm of frequency.)

I don't think it could possibly be due to which browser you're using, or anything like that.  And since Familiar Cards has been eliminated, I'm not sure what settings one is supposed to click on to activate/enable Ways.

Button for new players to register works fine.  But Login does nothing when it's clicked.

How many extra days or weeks will Dominion be giving us paying players who are dealing with this sytem-wide bug?

I have been having no stomach issues.  But I have been having eye aches and headaches since playing with the new look.  Have played thousands and thousands of games with the old system, with zero physical problems.  It's obviously much less pleasant to play with the current look.  I am hoping my eyes/brain gets used to this and hoping the game's effect on my health quickly resolves.

Just played a game with this, along with Advisor in the kingdom.

Advisor says that the player ends up with 2 cards (ie, 3-minus-1).  But when I "Chameleon" it, I get zero extra coins, rather than the expected 2 coins.  (And, having played Advisor as the Chameleon, I of course ended up not getting the expected 2 cards one usually gets with Advisor.)

What am I missing?  Is this a known bug?  Or, simply a misreading/misunderstanding by me???

What does it mean to play a supply?  Is this something from a beta version of the upcoming expansion???

Do you have a link for this? (I play only from my PC desktop computer, so I guess I would to be going to this stream site.  But when I Google "Stream + Dominion" I am only finding ways to stream the TV show/Movie "Dominion."  LOL

Fortunately, I have kept my email address forever, so I expect that they will still have me in their records.  Woo-hoo.

Stef (or was it Ingix??) gave a sentence about it, in the overview of this major change; but I have to admit that my limited brain function leaves me still confused.

Can someone explain?  Maybe give one or two examples, if that would be easy to do.  I expect (hope??) that I'm not the only one confused by this particular update/change.  :)
