How do I send a PM here?
Click on the two overlapping rectangles in the second line under Stef's 5 orange stars at the left side of one of his posts.
(I assume these are meant to be speech balloons.)

Other Bugs / Minor glitch in Friend List

If you go from "Familiar Cards" to "Friend List", the columns of names and buttons are not located correctly. At least if you have no followers as I do. :( ;)

Sorry if I repeat myself but everybody complaining about small cards and a crowded interface, please mention which device/OS/browser are you using. I play on full-screen Firefox under Windows 10 at 1920*1080 resolution (on a 55 inch TV), and there is nothing too small. I expect specific UI modifications for the future mobile clients.

After joining the table as a spectator, there should be a button labeled "play" in the bottom left.

It says that I'm not allowed to play.

The host of the table should set "Min relative rating" to -100 and "Max relative rating" to +100 in the "Advanced Options" when creating the table to make sure you can join regardless of any rating difference.

well said. the interface is really difficult to look at - combined with all the bugs.  I feel like im using a commodore 64.  I want this to succeed more than anyone since i also had several thousand games played on making fun.  i think you guys should ask MF for some help on the interface and the functionality.  their model was ideal.  right-clicking really should not be an option.

Which device/OS/browser are you using? I suggest you play a few more games and then post a prioritized list of the issues you have. Or you can simply wait until they (or most of them) are fixed. When it comes to matters of personal taste, this might not happen by itself, however, so I would recommend posting constructive suggestions.

You payed money to Making Fun, whose license to online Dominion expired at the end of the last year. ShuffleIt can't do anything about that.
You guys agreed to make a new client knowing this would be an issue. You don't want to do anything about that.

Actually, they are doing something about that. Basically, they (and probably Rio Grande Games and Donald X.) donate $40 to everybody who had all sets bought on Goko/MF. Or even more value if you consider that all these users will be able to chose the permanent offline app instead as soon as that is available.

Why should Shuffle iT want to pay money back that someone has given to someone else, expecting to get something for it that was never promised? (If you think it was promised, read the terms of use of MF.) If you are unhappy how Rio Grande Games handled the online Dominion license, complain at Rio Grande Games. I actually think that it was not a good idea to ever allow a company with a non-permanent license to "sell" "permanent" accounts. For online play this should have always been a subscription model. Luckily, this situation cannot happen again because now everybody knows that they are paying for a limited time only.

I am not an online player, but I loved single player dominion and am extremely disappointed that it has disappeared.  Why not let making fun continue to provide the single player option until 'sometime later in 2017' when the new company gets it ready?  Feeling pretty unhappy with this 'transition' that isn't transitioning anything if you just play the single player game!

I guess you are referring to the campaign mode? If not, you can already play against 1 to 5 bots (or solo without opoonents but that's probably not what you mean). Campaigns are planned for later this year.

I bought everything on Making Fun. The way it sounded, I thought I was going to get all of the cards on this version for a year, but it turns out I'm going to get everything except for Empires because I didn't own Empires on Making Fun. It's asking me to pay 6 Euros to get Empires for the year.

I don't mind paying for a quality product, but like, I'm not getting Stash or Inheritance right now and this thing isn't fully implemented yet -- lots of information that is crucial for playing with all of the cards isn't being displayed right now, the user interface needs a lot of work, I could go on. Whatever, I can mostly play with it, but calling it a quality product is a stretch right now. It is much, much worse than Making Fun.

I was really hoping I'd get to play with everything for a while without paying, and then this thing would be finished by the time I had to pay for it. Like, I'd much rather have 6 months of everything then start paying then over having everything but Empires for a year. I'm sure that trade would work out better for you according to that math which I am not going to get into.

I realize you're doing this to be nice and you don't owe anyone anything, and you're giving out free stuff to keep people happy. I'm telling you what would make me happy and why (6 months of everything instead of 12 months of everything minus Empires) so maybe you'll do that? If not, umm, I'm not sure what I'll do. I haven't thought about it.

I have to imagine a lot of other people would feel the same as me also.

No response?

You can have on from me. :)
The price model you suggest might have been a good idea but I guess it is too late to change that now. Imagine the uproar if you take away half a year of Gold (minus Empires) from everybody who had all sets on MF... And if Shuffle iT offered the option to choose between the two price models, they would have to put some effort into this which they might rather want to put into the client. I'm afraid that not too many would choose your model anyway. I might be wrong but I, personally, prefer the existing price model. I want to play with Empires from now on, too, and I prefer to pay for one year of Empires (which I couldn't have at MF) over paying for half a year of everything. Ah, yes, and I can live without Stash and Inheritance for some more time easily, as well as with the few real problems that the new client still has (naming cards, Journey token, trash view, challenging specific players, ...). I like the new client with discard confirmation, autobuy and undo much better than the MF client already - tastes are different, as it seems.

If you switch off "Move kingdom and play area" under "Options", the actions/buys/coins status bar doesn't overlap with the supply.
In addition, you can click that bar to make it disappear (until something changes).

As far as the request, the main one i have is to have "banned" cards for bot play. I rarely play anything but bots, but I would like to ban Sea Hag. I'm not going to play a game with that card under any conditions.

1) Set Sea Hag to unfamiliar under "Familiar Cards".
2) Set "Max unfamiliar cards" to zero under "Options".
3) Click "New Table" and create a table for 2 players (min 2, max 2).
4) (optional) Select cards/landscapes/sets/Colony options under "Select Kingdom Cards".
5) Click "Ready".
This should start a 2-player game with a bot without See Hag.

The card list for the games moves. That's extremely upsetting to my vertigo, especially unexpected.

It would be significantly better if the cards for the game were static. If someone is looking at cards and they suddenly move while you are looking, it's very disconcerting.

If you are referring to the 10 kingdom cards, you can keep those at a static location by setting "Move kingdom and play area" to "No" under "Options". I have done this as soon as it became available. :)

Good ideas. A lot of these are minor things, but it's the small details that really make good products shine.

In particular, "right-click to deselect one of the seven selected coppers" would be a great feature!

Personally, left clicking again to toggle selection feels more natural.

If you have to select only one card, I agree.
If you have to select two ore more cards, the second left click needs to increase the number of selected stacked cards to 2, however.
The general solution would be to have another left click which cannot increase the number of selected cards on that stack (because it is already the number of cards in that stack or because the total number of selected cards has been reached) toggle the selection of that stack back to zero. I prefer this over right click which should stay "view card" in all situations.

The current implementation is much better than what Goko had at their start. And that was a multi-million dollar company. Please have a little patience with Shuffle iT who had to release on January 1st even if the product was not yet completely polished.

Still did not get the transfer mail nor the confirmation mail, so problem is not solved yet.

Sorry if I ask the obvious. Did you check the email account you had used for registration at Goko/MF? If yes, did you check your spam folder?

A lot of people think it's much worse than MF's though. Why would we have faith that it's going to get better?

Because the beta testers have experienced many improvements over a short period of time.

We need to bitch about it so ShuffleIt knows how much we dislike their design choices. I don't think just waiting around for them to make their client better is reasonable, especially considering the typical response I've seen from the admins here is basically "we like what we've done."

You have made a very helpful first post, listing the issues you don't like. Unfortunately, you have given that post a very stupid title. Continuing to bitch is contraproductive as well. All the posts of other users calling the new client horrible without listing one single actual issue they have don't help either, so I would rather suggest to list actual issues instead.

UI design preferences can be different for different people. It's helpful to suggest alternatives, with an explanation why they might be better. If it turns out that there are relevant numbers of supporters on both sides of the fence, there might even be an option in the user settings at some time in the future.

Finally, I recommend to post the issues in a friendly and constructive way because this increases the chance of being listened to.

Edit: ninja'd...
