I was told I would be getting it shortly yesterday. At what point should I raise more alarms/concern? "Shortly" is not an acceptable expectation of time.

According to the MF export, you didn't buy any expansions there. Is it possible you subscribed on MF?

I like 5 minutes as a timeout, but in the not-too-distant-future you'll be able to specify the timeout on your own games. And then people who think you set it too short can simply not join your game.

How can I play with more than one bot? You write that I can start a table for 3, but for some reason, when I start a new table, it is impossible to set the minimum number of players to more than 2, so when i start a game immedeately,l as you write, I end up with play with only one bot. i prefer to play with two bots.

Sorry that's a bit strange but you can't get the minimum above the maximum.
So first put the maximum to 3, then the minimum as well. We'll get to that.

We just released a new version and it is sending the messages to welcome new users, confirm email or forgot password.

If you tried to sign up but were stuck in the "signing you up..." (and are not on an iPad) please try it again now.

If you succeeded in creating your account but never got the email to confirm, please log in, go to "account" and type in your email again. The "Confirm" button should now work.

While the problem is now gone, I'm not actually sure I got to the bottom of it yet.

How can you invite a particular person to play, instead of just playing with whomever joins your table?

We're still working on more convenient ways to do this.

Now the best thing to do is create a table and wait for them to join it.
One step to make it easier is adding each other as friends, because then on the "matching" tab you can see them and click "join".

Hi team, I used to play on making fun. I have one of the expansions. I can't recall my user name. But I know the email I used to sign up. Can you please advise me how to get in?

Can you send me a PM with everything you do remember? I will try to find your account for you.

Under "matching" you find some ways to set up games quickly. The "bot match" button there will always get you in a 1vs1 game.

If you want something more specific, that can be done by first creating a table. In this case, make a table with minPlayers and maxPlayers both set to 3, and click "ready". Bots will automatically fill the 2 empty seats.

I received a message to transfer my account to the new site. It says

As a user of one of the previous implementations, we ask you to sign up using this link.

Your old username Tuuli is reserved for you and can only be used through this link.

However, when I try to use that link and register with my old username Tuuli, I get the message "This username is reserved".

Any advice appreaciated!

Sorry, this is a bit of a weird problem. I just looked in the imported accounts table, and I found two accounts.
One is "Tuuli " (with a capital T and a space after it) and another is "tuuli" (no capitals, no spaces).

My guess is that you are the owner of the username with the space, and since we require usernames to be unique regardless of capitalization, you can't claim the username without a space.

Maybe you can select a different username? You'd still keep your sets if you use that signup link.

Sorry, we have some trouble sending the emails. The process that is sending out all the "import your MF account" mails is disrupting the regular ones.

We'll look into it, but regardless I expect these problems to be over once we get all the import mails out.

I came to express my disappointment in the subscription model, it's not enough that we actually have to pay AGAIN, but we have to pay yearly, this is just ridiculous. I don't care about the "politics" that goes on, I paid for my game, I am expecting to have full access to it. This removes all the confidence that I have for the copyright holder of Dominion (Rio Grande Games) to be able to choose a developer that gives me confidence to support. The last Dominion has been in Beta forever, and WE'VE PAID for the hardly playable mess on the promise of it improving, there is no way that I'm paying again.

Sorry to hear that. I can understand that it's far from ideal from your point of view.
But no matter what we chose, people who were under the impression that they already owned everything were always going to be disappointed. Note that we didn't get any of the money that you paid.

I am convinced that the model we chose fits an online game much better, and all we can do now is hope to do better in the future. The beauty of a subscription model is that you can always terminate it if you lose faith in the developers.

There isn't a number in the corner of the Discard pile to let someone know how many cards are in it. It would be helpful for cards like Counting House, Counselor, and probably a few more I can't think of at the moment.

This could be nice indeed, but the Dominion rules say you're not allowed to count your discard pile (unless some card tells you to look through it).

Maybe we should do something though, because IRL obviously even even when you're not allowed to count you can get a pretty good guess by just looking at it.

Just to be clear: "I don't want the leaderboard to be important" doesn't imply we won't have one. We most certainly will. I just won't put it in people faces, like displaying it after every game.

Started a 2 player game and after the first turn my opponent left, saying he was just there to see what it looked like.  Game was still running with only me at the table, so I resigned as I didn't see any other option.  Scoreboard at the end showed simply 3 pts each and me resigning, nothing about the other player ditching.  Is that how it's supposed to work?

Yes, it is. Sorry but it's impossible for the system to know if your opponent left on purpose or by accident.
If it's by accident, he gets some time to reconnect.

You could have waited 5 minutes and then you would have gotten the option to resign your opponent.

Sorry, but I can't find the account you're referring to. Could you post your username?
I did find a username "cidermonkey" in de transferred accounts, but it's associated with an @gmail.com email address.

The bug has been found and solved on dev. You'll get the fixed version tomorrow.
