AI bugs / Re: Autoplay issues

One game where it occurred is listed in the original post.

Since the new version came out, it is very hard to see things such as the number of cards contributing to your score with Gardens or other scoring cards that weren't as simple as the main VP cards.  A fix for this would be great.

It has always come up even when not needed WHILE THERE ARE STILL ACTIONS in your hand.  But it wouldn't come up when all actions were out of your hand.  Now it's coming up even when you have no action cards remaining.  This is a difference.  There were legitimate reasons that you could want to call it previously even though you hadn't reduced your available actions to zero, but none that I can imagine where you would need it to still be available with no actions to play.  Also, it's not a "smart ask" if it asks no matter what.  So either get rid of the option, or fix it...

So is Coin of the Realm going to be addressed?  This wasn't an issue prior to the most recent update.

Treasury - asking if I want to topdeck even when it's got always topdeck selected (see game 101515183)

Coin of the Realm: still makes you make a choice even when there is no remaining action to play and/or when there are remaining actions to play and set to Smart Ask (see game 97375831, among many others)

This is becoming a common problem; considering that we are (almost) all paying customers, I think we are reasonably entitled to expect better than this.

Feature Requests / Fix for Moat
11 May 2022, 05:11:39 PM
Currently, when an opposing player plays a Werewolf (and maybe others, but I'm blanking if there are any other cards that are only attacks at certain times) as an action, they become aware whether their opponent has a Moat, either because it's set to auto-reveal or because there is a delay to allow you to decide whether to reveal it.  Either way, this can have a HUGE effect on how you choose to play further cards that turn.  This would not occur IRL because someone wouldn't reveal or think about revealing a Moat when someone plays a Werewolf as an action card.

I suggest finding a way to fix this, so that when a card is played that is not an attack AT THE TIME OF PLAY, there is no reaction from the game.  I recognize this may be a fairly heavy lift, but if it could be considered for the next set of updates, it would be a significant improvement.  Thanks!

I was just playing a game, and when it ended clicking to go back into the table "waiting room" did not do anything.  I refreshed and it brought me to the login screen, where clicking login also did nothing.  I've tried multiple browsers and multiple devices, all with the same result.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

When set to "smart ask," Coin of the Realm still makes you make a choice even when there is no remaining action to play and/or when there are remaining actions to play.

Sometimes during a game I write a simple gg.  I think it's appropriate in these circumstances:
A) After I have won
B) On the opponent's turn when it seems a win is inevitable.

Sometimes I resign, sometimes I don't. It depends on the game.

Recently I have had two separate players say that gg should be followed by a resignation.  Sometimes I resign afterwards, sometimes I don't, depending on how likely the loss is.  One player was abusive and accused me of trying to trick him when he didn't finish the game that round.  Thoughts?

Could be worse.  One guy once told me I was being rude because I said "gg" after I won what was, in fact, a good game.  When I explained that I was just trying to be polite, he gave me crap.

YES!  Especially if they time out before the game even begins; I can't begin to tell you how many times I've had people time out before the first hand (never even clicking Start Game) and then, after you force their resignation, they click that they're ready again!  This is absurd and should be punished in some form; if you don't want to play, then don't play.

It doesn't make it a draw, but it DOES make it so you have to wait out the 4 minutes to make them resign.  That is undoubtedly against the site's rules, and should be reported every single time.

I'm curious for other peoples' perspectives on this:

If you are about to lose a game (i.e. one province remaining, and it becomes apparent that during the ongoing turn, your opponent will have enough to purchase that province, which will win them the game), is it acceptable to resign or is that rude?  This has happened to me a number of times, and I often feel a little twinge of annoyance; however, conversely when I am the one losing, I may feel a little bit of an attitude of "get it over with" if the person isn't ending it immediately.

So, thoughts?
