New interface exceedingly slow.

Is anyone else having speed problems with the new interface? its very very slow. Seems awfully clunky and quite  downgrade from the old version. Very frustrating to play. 

Hoping someone might be working to fix this?

The animation speed can be set to various options, the starting one is rather slow for most players taste:
