"signing you up" and no log in problem

Using Chrome on my macbook, because safari and firefox won't load the first login screen, and I can not seem to sign up or log in. At the end of the sign up process, after entering in all my fields, I get the picture attached (a screen saying "singing you up") and that is it, it does not continue from there. If I attempt to log in with my account (that I was attempting to sign up with) The screen fades to black followed an then fades to the original login screen. I have also provided some of the java code as well.

update: tried logging in with someone else's information and get a "Metaserver connection closed." in the java, the close event code is 1006 for ever time I try to log in or sign up. hopefully that helps!
