Hey there -- love Dominion. Username is "Nasty Miyagi." I was fully aware it would be subscription after MF lost its license. Didn't plan on paying when the free year ran out, but it's so much fun I'm happy to do so now ... Have loved the free play and access to all the expansions (even if I don't always understand them). Thanks for all your hard work!

Re your questions:

1. Don't care either way.
2. Yes.
3. YES! The Bot that just buys gold, and that just Contrabands gold, is not very AI.
4. So long as laggards are forced to resign, no. If you implement, I'd have it be an option (new cards + a timer would be a bummer).
5. Maybe a list of recent moves to show how far back you want to undo? Having to request three or four times to get to the stage you want is clunky.
6. Agnostic.
7. Sure.
8. N/A for me.
9. Agnostic. I kind of like the old school feel. That said, a slicker interface may appeal to more users, increasing your business and making the community bigger and better ...
10. Yeah, I think that would be nice. If you do hide it, I would put turn order at the top for the purposes of figuring out if you can tie or not. In fact, it would be nice to have this feature even with the log, so we don't have to scroll through it.
11. Agnostic.
12. Agnostic.
13. Agnostic.
14. Part of me says yes, part says no. I think self policing is pretty good. I ban players I don't like. It would be nice to be able to flag or rate a player who resigns often (especially on random table generators -- they see the cards, they don't like them, they bounce) without outright banning them. I think it would be useful for us to see if a player, upon sitting down at the table with them, is a serial quitter or not. A rating system is also ripe for abuse, so maybe just leave it as is? Dunno if my answer here is helpful ...
15. Not a priority for me.
16. Ditto.

One thing not listed: I'd love for it to be easier to experiment with new expansions in a stress free game, either vs a bot or another expansion newbie. I have a feeling this is doable, but it would be nice to have one-click access to this feature. Could be as easy as putting an "Expansion practice match" button on the home page. Then you click which expansion(s) you want to mess with, and then you're matched or joined by a friend or bot. I get all sweaty when I see new cards and have no idea what to do with them!

Thanks again for a fantastic product. When I first saw it, post MF, I thought, "Oh, no." But this version is so much better than MF's. Truly. It was so easy to make simple and dumb mistakes in the MF version. That is not the case with yours.

Cheers,

NM

"Nasty Miyagi" here again. I missed one of your #10. questions (of which there are two). So:

10. (re split piles, etc). YES, PLEASE!

Also, move log clicks to pop ups in the middle of the table, please.

Thanks,

NM

I don't know if I'm one of the people this qualifies for, but I'll respond anyway.

 1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
Not of interest to me, having played many tabletop games in app/online form, although I appreciate it's an option, I get bored of playing against something that's running a script. At top levels of play, it's easy to predict and "game" the AI. (I'm not top at Dominion, but was a competitive Catan player, and get super bored of playing the bots).

 2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
If you do it, yes, this is better than just one script that all bots run. Carcassonne does a great job with this, for example.

 3. A strong bot.
As strong as you can make it, yes!

 4. Options for timed games
Yep might as well, lots of people like fast play. It's probably one of the most common complains in in-game chat. "play faster please".

 5. Options for undo settings
I like the current setup of undo needing to be validated by other players. Maybe a way to toggle so it is/is not an option for any more that reveals information.

 6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
Yes! This would be awesome! Friends, and also rando's. I'd love if I could play a mini tournament any time.

 7. Option to invite specific players to your table
I don't care but I'm sure lots of people would want this and it would make sense.

 8. More translations (to what language?)
n/a for me, only need English.

 9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...
Hmmmm...maybe, but not at the expense of slowing down play. Maybe if you can toggle them on off.

10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...
Yes please, anything you can do here. And maybe I just don't know where it is, but ability to view the various mats.

10. Option to hide the log
Sure, maybe just minimize it to the side.

11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?)
n/a for me, but yeah seems like it'd make sense.

12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?)
Yes. I would play it all the time. Was playing the MF one a lot.

13. Downloadable game logs
Not of interest for me.

14. Improved moderation (dealing with chat abuse, slowplayers, ...)
Yes, maybe more ways to deal with slow players, maybe a setting people can agree to before starting the game of how long before a "time out" can be dealt with.
I don't mind swearing in the chats, and actually like it, but derogatory language should absolutely not be allowed!

15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion
Not of need or interest to me.

16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online.
Yeah, with any product, you want people to be able to use that version of it, so where buttons are and how to change settings should be explained some how some way.

I am an original MF client and already paid for 2018 subscription so I could continue to play.

1. I would love an offline client to play bots
2. Yes, this sounds like a nice option.
3. It would be nice to have levels of play with bots
4. This doesn't interest me
5. Do we not already have an undo?
6. This sound nice. I would love an option to just include my friends when setting up games. I hate having to kick people out when trying to start a private game. MF had a great option for private games.
7. Yes! As I stated in #6. I do not like to play strangers. My husband and I only play bots or personal friends with Dominion online.
8. N/A for me. English is my language.
9. Yes!!! I thought the MF interface was much easier visually. It took me a long time to get used to current visuals. Seeing what my opponent buys more easily would be a great feature. Now, I have to see it upside down or go read what they bought. This shouldn't be upside down. MF was much easier for me.
10. Yes! I would like to see the board filled more visually with cards and options. Actions that just show up in fine print on the log are difficult to read. These options should be much easier to see and understand. Hidden below the log in small fine print is not ideal at all, especially for new players who are just learning the game. You have to know to look for the options there and to click on them.
10 (again?) Hiding the log would be a great option
11. Not applicable to me
12. I would LOVE an iPad or iPhone app!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. nice, not necessary. Not a priority on my wish list.
14 No opinion, as I don't play strangers
15 Yes!
16 Yes, I loved MF's practice games where you went through the kingdoms. I forgot the name of it, but it was a fantastic way to learn the game.

*I am grateful that this game is still available on line. We play often. I do wish the interface was visually easier to look at. The MF version was easier on my eyes and easier for new players to learn with. What I do miss greatly is the option to replay the same exact cards after playing a game. You used to be able to play the same cards as a type of retry with the bots or change the cards. When I find a fun or difficult hand with the bots or my friends, it would be nice to just play it again.
Also, I love the MF option of creating card sets for games. We would pick various table layouts and play the ones we were in the mood for.
Thank you for listening to our input.
It did seem unfair that we thought we had a lifetime subscription, then just had to pay again.

Hi, username SiaKoquima

Thank you for doing this! My family and I are avid gamers IRL and Dominion is my personal favorite game because each game can be different based on the cards.  We own almost all the expansions in our home and I purchased all available through MF.  The games aren't cheap, and I appreciate that you are trying to compensate those of us who purchased the Dominion games.  I play Dominion online almost every day as a way to unwind and relax when I have the time!

1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
I would enjoy playing offline campaigns when I don't have time to engage in a game with real people or just to practice playing the various kingdoms.  I would feel comfortable allowing my tweens to play the offline version as we don't allow the kids to play online games with chat features.
 2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
Variation is what makes the game fun when you play against real people, a predictable bot wouldn't be very much fun.
 3. A strong bot.
Boss bots would be a fun challenge.
 4. Options for timed games
Yes!! As a busy mom of 4, sometimes I only have 10-20 minutes I can sit down and play a game or two while the babies are napping. I would appreciate a timed game because you would have to play quickly and finish it.  It is so frustrating to play against someone who takes 3-5 minutes to play a basic hand.
 5. Options for undo settings
Undo is helpful when you mis-click. I play friendly games and willing to give people any reasonable undo options as I would IRL if playing with friends.
 6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
Sounds like a fun option!
 7. Option to invite specific players to your table
Yes, it is difficult to see what friends are online except in the opening matching section as well.
 8. More translations (to what language?)
 9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...
10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...
This is necessary, especially if the cards are new to a player, you have no idea what the other card in the pile are when there is no way to view them.
10. Option to hide the log
11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?)
An app would be great!  I have many other board card/games that I play in app version - Ticket to Ride, Splendor, Star realms, Ascension, Pandemic, etc. Since Dominion is my favorite game, I would of course be playing it the most!
12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?)
I don't have an iPhone.
13. Downloadable game logs
wouldn't use
14. Improved moderation (dealing with chat abuse, slowplayers, ...)
Yes, I typically just ignore/block players who try to ruin the game and don't play with them again.
15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion
Would be helpful for new players, it can be intimidating if you have never played this or any deck building games before to understand.  The campaigns also would help with this for new players.
16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online.

Same as above.

Hello! Hope you are still accepting feedback.

I have played Dominion Online a few years now and have been mostly happy with it so far. One thing I definitely missed is seeing what the other user is doing. I feel a like I lose a little bit of the "board-game" feeling when I am constantly reading the log. I would have love to see which card the other player is buying from the table, or at least have it more obvious in the log.

1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
- Yes I would love an offline client.

 2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
- I play a lot with bots so this would definitely be a nice option for me.

 3. A strong bot.
- This is not as im
