Honestly none if this would be an issue if it it wern't for the fact that their servers are based in belgium and thus causes the homepage load to take 3 FULL MINUTES if nothing is cached.
Once you load and cache all the assets its actually pretty fast, but HOLY HELL.
I'm only posting this in the hopes that someone from the ENG team sees this and implements a CDN/Better manage their image assets.
- They don't use any ANY CDN's
- They have image files with MASSIVE resolution for a tiny button. Like are they expecting people with jumbo screens to be loading these assets?
- They don't use sprites for any of their images
- Use insane background images that are 1.5 MB each
- Have an insane monolithic JS file that is 5.6 megs
