Auto resigning in the middle of a game

Happened three times in a row– I was first abruptly thrown into a new game but couldn't click on anything, and then was directed to the post game screen where it said I resigned.

Then in the next game, in the middle of my 5th or 6th turn, I again was told I had resigned.

In the third game, during my turn again, I got the "Make your opponent resign?" modal, and then half a second later, the alert saying I had resigned.

I thought it was an issue with my internet at first, but I rebooted before the third game, so not sure why this is happening.

It's a bad bug that happens rarely (when looking from one specific player's point of view) but from reports 2-3 times a week overall (likely more often unreported). It seems to be caused by changes in the search options while you wait for a playing partner in the queue. Then the server will give you opponents/games for both options, but you see and can play in only one of them.

This will often continue for several games, as the game will continue to match you for both search options several times in a  row. If that happens to you, the best option is to log out of the game and do not log back in until 2 full hour crossings (e.g if it happens to you at 1:30 pm, log out and log back in after 3:00 p,).
