Journeyman won't let me name an empty pile

Joining game #5316 on frankfurt-test2.

I want to Journeyman a Hamlet, but no + sign appears allowing me to name Hamlet, presumably because the Hamlet pile is empty.

Possible complicating factors:
-my +1 coin token was on Hamlet
-The Journeyman was being played by a Disciple

I can't even name Shelters with Journeyman.
