Friends-only not working

I set up tables for my friends and I to play in but while waiting for them to join, random people keep joining the table and I have to kick them. I have the "allow spectators" option set to FRIENDS ONLY.

Same issue, it's been happening for over a year. It is frustrating not only to the table host but also to players joining that aren't friends who then get kicked out.

Hello, I have investigated this issue and would like to confirm what is happening before designing a fix.

The guard to prevent non-friends from joining as spectators appears to be working, but this will not prevent non-friends from joining as a player if there is an open player slot at the table. Can you confirm if these non-friends are joining as players that you have to kick (rather than joining as spectators).
